Another item I would be without is my coffee bean grinder. This one acts as a small storage container too so you can grind some extra beans for the second pot of the day. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Keurig but they aren’t so common here in the UK. If I do move Stateside, I can see this one being high on my wishlist for my new kitchen!

A truly dedicated coffee addict may very well want to learn to roast their own beans. Small batch roasting is becoming very popular here and there are numerous small businesses supplying various blends to coffee connossieurs everywhere. This home coffee roaster has some great reviews although it is expensive and may be a little over budget for most of us! A book on coffee roasting might be a cheaper alternative but it might also start a new craving!

Last up, I’ve included a selection of great coffee beans. My fella introduced me to Caribou coffee which I’ve really enjoyed so I had to include their sampler pack. Many of my twitter friends also enjoy the Death Wish coffee brand although it’s billed as the strongest coffee in the world so you may want to be sure your coffee addict can handle it – definitely not for the faint of heart!
