12 Cool Gift Ideas for Lord of The Rings and Hobbit Fans

I’ve been a fan of The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings since my school days so I thought I’d show you some of my favorite Tolkien gift ideas today. I’ve read the books multiple times over the years but I haven’t got around to seeing all the movies yet!

First up, we have three great Funko Pop action figures – Sauron, Gandalf the White and Smaug. I think Sauron looks amazing but my favorite is the cute Smaug figure. He stands just 6 inches tall and every 12th one has colored eyes. I actually prefer the black eyes myself but having a rarer colored eye version would be cool too! There are loads of other Hobbit character Funko’s available as well.

When it comes to Lord of the Rings or Hobbit themed jewelry, most of us would immediately think of the One Ring and this stainless steel version is perfect in my eyes. I love the Elven flower pendant inspired by Arwen Evenstar. It’s quite big for a pendant, 2 inches long but it’s sterling silver and comes with a choice of chain lengths so I’d probably go for a longer chain and wear it over a dark blouse or sweater to show it off!

A little less fanciful, these text based mugs are very practical for a Tolkien fan. The Hobbit’s to-do list is great – eat, party, laugh and eat some more sounds like a great way to live life if you can. The quote from Gandalf is very well known and a little more serious but what a great reminder each morning that wandering is good for you sometimes!

My own book set has fallen apart over the years so perhaps when I move, I’ll treat myself to this box set which includes the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. I’m tempted by the DVD set too – just curl up on the sofa and enjoy the amazing scenery of New Zealand as a backdrop to the story.
